Frizzis Tournament @ Murstätten

Invited to a belated Birthday Party, Herbie and me started to a wonderful road trip to the south of Austria. Our destination was Murstätten, where we had the chance to play one of the most stunning golf courses I have seen in Austria yet.

Murstätten is a fantastic place to play our beloved game. You will hit your strokes around a small lake most of the time and one hole is never the same like the one to follow.

We enjoyed playing this course even though we came a bit late on the round and had 7 holes less to play on the first day.

Herbie and me we do a lot of analyzing my play lately as I would like to see more improvement of what I try to develop and to bring to grounds the last months. Not always easy and never without commitment to myself to take whatever a better player is giving an advice to not be sad if I cannot turn the help immediately into a pleasant stroke.

Golf is a game against yourself and it needs a lot of patience and self forgiveness. 😉

Next day we played a short 9 hole tournament – me played 9, Herbie played the full 18 – and played super well. It’s a pleasure and a pain looking him playing that good, smart and beautiful, yes indeed simply beautiful are a lots of his strokes lately. It’s something I do admire. The ball going high and long. Resumes that mine are likely to be down to grounds and short. 🙂

Well here and then, you can see the champion who is actually hiding inside me. Just a matter of time, when it breaks out! 😂
