Weekends filled with golf, who needs more than Herbie, absolute partner in all crimes and of cause golf included, 18 holes a day, beer, tapas and sometimes a glimpse of sun.
Near to Malaga we arrived at Mijas, a small town, I would say only dedicated to golfers. Mijas is near to Marbella as well and is located in a quite hilly region. The golf courses – three of them, America, Europa and Asia – are excellently set into this mountain area at around 400 m.
We played the campo America and Europa, both excellent courses of 18 holes, challenging and serving a lot of fun, by playing up and down the fairways.
We did not have too much of the spanish sun but honestly I just can admit, I don’t care a lot. Golf means to me sports and I am quite eager at the course and if you are on such wonderful and great courses I enjoy besides hitting my club, the scenery. Enjoying Golf together with your best golf partner in crime is one of the best things ever. We are very likewise when playing Golf and that gives us a „Bonnie and Clyde“ kind of twist. Herbie popped out as my new golf teacher, giving me the best times, dedicated tips and a lot of advices to become soon a single HC player.. haha .. joking 😉
I love the holes when you tee off so much above the fairway and you hit off to find your ball just in the middle of hobbit land, so green, so hilly and then swing your club and play quite near to the green at the end.
I can’t say loud but I started to hit my first Pars. Yeahhhyyy… I feel excellent ❤️
